BowFlex T6 quick verdict
The BowFlex T6 is a versatile treadmill for regular home running. The 152 x 50 cm (59.8 x 19.7 in) running area, 20 km/h (12.4 mph) top speed and 15% incline give you a strong setup for steady runs, faster sessions and hill work.
Its biggest strength is flexibility. You can use several training apps rather than being tied to one platform, while the one-year labour warranty is the main compromise I would weigh up.

I judge the T6 in the context of the job it is designed to do – regular home running with flexible third-party app choice. I focused on how the main features affect real buying decisions rather than treating every line of the specification as equally important.
- Training suitability – belt size, speed, incline and the overall specification for the kind of running, jogging or walking the machine is aimed at.
- Build and practicality – machine weight, user capacity, frame type, dimensions, storage and how realistic it is to place and move at home.
- Technology and ownership – console or controls, app choice, warranty and recurring themes in model-specific customer feedback.
For this review I focused on motor power, running area, incline, folding, app support and warranty. I use the current UK specification as the starting point and focus on how the main features affect real buying decisions. I do not assume an overseas version is identical to the model sold here.

Who is the BowFlex T6 best for?
The T6 is a good fit if you run regularly and want the freedom to use several training apps instead of one closed platform.
What Stands Out
Broad app choice – JRNY, Peloton, Kinomap and Zwift give you more freedom than a treadmill tied to one training platform.
Motor suits regular running – The 3 CHP motor and 20 km/h (12.4 mph) top speed are a practical combination for regular home running.
Spacious running area – The 152 cm (59.8 in) belt gives you enough room for a normal running stride.
Strong component cover – The frame and motor have lifetime cover, with three years on parts.
Things to consider
App integration varies – The T6 supports several training platforms, but the exact data sharing and treadmill control can vary by app, so check the one you plan to use.
Large and heavy – At 106 kg (234 lb), I would plan the access and expect to need help with assembly or positioning.
High-mileage runners may want more power – The 3 CHP motor is a good match for regular home running, but heavier runners doing very high mileage may want more power.
A CLOSER LOOK
How the BowFlex T6 performs in key areas
RUNNING COMFORT
Running area
The 152 x 50 cm (59.8 x 19.7 in) running area is a good size for regular home running, with enough length for taller users and a width that should suit most runners.
BUILD & CAPACITY
Build and user weight
The T6 weighs 106 kg (16 st 10 lb) and has a 147 kg (23 st 2 lb) maximum user weight. That is a solid heavy-duty setup for regular home running. It suits a treadmill intended to stay in one place and handle regular running rather than be moved after each session.
PERFORMANCE
Motor and speed
The 3 CHP motor and 20 km/h (12.4 mph) top speed are enough for regular home running.
If you are a heavier runner or cover a lot of miles each week, I would still look at more powerful models.
HILL CLIMB TRAINING
Incline
The powered incline reaches 15%, giving you plenty of scope for hill walking and harder running. The controls make speed and incline changes easy during a session. The benefit is being able to make a session harder at the same speed, which works well for hill walking and controlled interval sessions.
SPACE & STORAGE
Frame and storage
The running platform folds to cut the stored length to about 112 cm (44.1 in). It still stays close to 90 cm (35.4 in) wide, so check the storage space first. My folding treadmill guide explains the main folding designs.
CONNECTED TRAINING
Apps and subscriptions
JRNY is BowFlex’s connected training app. The T6 also supports Peloton, Kinomap and Zwift, so you are not tied to JRNY alone.
That gives you more freedom to change training platforms later. My smart treadmill guide explains the different levels of treadmill integration.
BowFlex also lists Apple Fitness, Apple Health, Google Fit and Samsung Health in its T6/T9 connectivity information alongside JRNY, Peloton, Kinomap and Zwift.
EVERYDAY USE
Console and controls
The dual LED/LCD console keeps manual running straightforward without needing a subscription or built-in touchscreen.
BowFlex also lists Apple Fitness, Apple Health, Google Fit and Samsung Health in its T6/T9 connectivity information alongside JRNY, Peloton, Kinomap and Zwift.
PEACE OF MIND
Warranty and after-sales cover
The warranty is lifetime on the frame and motor, 3 years parts and 1 year labour.
The frame, motor and parts cover is strong. The one-year labour cover is the weaker part. I would keep proof of purchase and check who handles labour once the first year has passed.
SPACE CHECK
BowFlex T6 dimensions and space required
The T6 folds to reclaim some floor space between sessions, but folding does not remove the need to plan for its full width and the room required to use it safely.
| Dimensions in use | 194.1 x 89.8 x 179.5 cm (76.4 x 35.4 x 70.7 in) |
| Running area | 152 x 50 cm (59.8 x 19.7 in) |
| Frame type | Fold-Up Deck |
| Maximum user weight | 147 kg (23 st 2 lb) |
| Machine weight | 106 kg (234 lb) |
Although this treadmill has transport wheels, you still need to be comfortable lifting or tilting part of it to get it onto the wheels before you can move it.
Because the treadmill’s boxed weight will be over 80 kg, couriers will not take it up any stairs during delivery.
TREADMILL COMPARISON
Compare the BowFlex T6 with other treadmills
Use the selectors below to compare the BowFlex T6 with up to three treadmills I have reviewed. The first column stays fixed to this model.
Choose at least one treadmill above to show the comparison table.
| Feature | BowFlex T6 | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Motor power | 3.0 CHP | |||
| Maximum speed | 20 km/h (12.4 mph) | |||
| Incline | 15% | |||
| Running belt | 152 x 50 cm (59.8 x 19.7 in) | |||
| Maximum user weight | 147 kg (23 st 2 lb) | |||
| Frame type | Fold-Up Deck | |||
| Compatible apps | JRNY, Peloton, Kinomap, Zwift, Apple Fitness, Apple Health, Google Fit, Samsung Health | |||
| Assembled dimensions | 194.1 x 89.8 x 179.5 cm (76.4 x 35.4 x 70.7 in) |
The table is there to make the differences easier to scan. I would still judge each treadmill in the context of the training it is designed for rather than treating one higher figure as automatically better.
BowFlex T6 final verdict
The BowFlex T6 is a strong all-round option for regular home running. The 3 CHP motor, 152 cm (59.8 in) running length and 20 km/h (12.4 mph) top speed cover the job well.
Its biggest advantage is app choice. JRNY, Peloton, Kinomap and Zwift give you more freedom than treadmills built around one subscription.
The 152 x 50 cm (59.8 x 19.7 in) running area is a good size for regular home running, while the one-year labour warranty is the part I would pay most attention to.
If app flexibility matters and you want a well-equipped treadmill for regular home running, the T6 is one of the BowFlex models I would look at first.

BowFlex T6 FAQ
Is the BowFlex T6 suitable for tall runners?
Yes. The 152 x 50 cm (59.8 x 19.7 in) running area gives suitable length for regular running and should work well for many taller users and longer strides.
Is the BowFlex T6 suitable for daily running?
The heavy-duty build, long running area and 20 km/h (12.4 mph) top speed make it a suitable option for frequent home running. The 3 CHP motor is a good match for regular home running.
Is the BowFlex T6 suitable for heavier runners?
The stated maximum user weight is 147 kg (23 st 2 lb). That is a useful capacity for home use, although I would still leave a practical distance from the stated limit for frequent training.
What is JRNY?
JRNY is BowFlex’s connected training app. The T6 also supports third-party options including Peloton, Kinomap and Zwift, so you are not tied to JRNY alone. Check the exact level of treadmill control offered by each app.
What warranty does the BowFlex T6 have in the UK?
The warranty is lifetime on the frame and motor, 3 years parts and 1 year labour. The shorter labour cover is the part I would pay most attention to.
